anyone that gives it an 8 is, to be fair, about right (8.5 is fair imo).
I find a truly great game just makes me keep coming back regardless of what other games i have waiting to be played (this is purely my own opinion, i'm not trolling) and for whatever reason, i've not felt that with uncharted. Its enjoyable, yes, but playing it feels somewhat like going through the motions rather than eagerly anticipating whats round the next corner (like i did when i played R&C and Bi...
except transformers and the bourne ultimatum - damn them. I had to buy a hd-dvd addon for my 360 just for those movies, and all because they wouldnt release them on blu-ray. A$$HOLES!
love blu-ray, but if there is one thing i cant stand its the damn region coding. I have a US ps3 and live in the UK so have to import everything. At least on my hd-dvd player i can just buy movies from where i want (well, all 4 that are are any good on the format anyway)
please please please put in a decent damage model!!!
slowly but surely coming to the conclusion i'm the only person in the world who owns uncharted and doesnt think its the greatest game ever...
I seriously must be missing something (I still think Ratchet & Clank is far more fun...)
update: just wondering - do the disagrees mean people think i'm not the only person in the world who doesnt rate UDF as amazing, or is it just cos people disagree with my view that it aint perfect...just checking, its sometimes hard to wor...
i'm pretty sure this will be a very bad comment to post...but...
which should i d/l the demo on, psn or live?
6.6 games per console? Thats pretty impressive...
goddamit i love google translations..what the heck is a hearth player?
I can assure everyone i aint letting anyone play with my hearth - anyone tries it and there will be trouble.
i'm not so sure about halo 4. They've left the story sort of open ended (i wont spoil what happens for anyone that hasnt managed to finish it yet) but i get the feeling its run its course. Plus, bunige have said one of the reasons for their split from m$ was they were kind of sick of working on the halo franchise.
My bet is on a prequel - perhaps the back story behind the spartan project or something like that, plus you get to give another developer (whoever m$ decide to pick) ...
why not just release a patch for the first one to fix the damn save system!!!! that thing was such a POS - ruined a brilliant game...
i bought my elite a couple of months back, and while it was easy to pick up premiums and cores (obviously arcades now), elites were like gold dust. Not sure if the situation has changed, but its good news if demand is high - in the end its very possible the ps3 will win the sales battle, but at least a big installed user base means good developer support, which can only be a good thing for everyone :O)
absolutely superb. probably the best comment i've read on this site.
Although, i think it would be somewhat wrong of me not to point out the fatal flaw in your logic - you cant communicate with morons. No matter how well thought out your argument may be, it will fall on deaf ears. The bubble of stupidity in which they surround themselves will never be penetrated by logic or rational thought.
Bubbles for you - long may you try and set these damn schoolkids straigh...
so now the dribbling, rabid borderline insane ps3 fanboy crowd has completely forgotten how to read as well as make a decent argument?
Newsflash dumbass - plenty of people admit trouble with their 360's - and most dont even run around claiming that the 360 is the best thing since sliced bread - the reason why people stick by the darn thing is because they like playing the games - funny that aint it, considering its a games console? (Don't worry, i'm sure the 360 fanboys will l...
silly question , but do you really think sony gives a flying f**k about you either? You're coming across as a rabid fankid, and quite frankly that means most normal people see your opinions as completely irrellevant biased nonsense.
M$ made a product with an abnormally high failure rate, and they are trying to do something about it. They screwed up big time, and it took them too long to sort it out. The people who should be annoyed are those sitting without their 360's that wan...
well i've had 3 rrod failures, switch to an elite, had none. Of my friends (which i think own 15 or so 360's between them) they've not had a single failure....
so, you've got a "cosumer" what ever that may be, and "average joe" which as i recall, was a bad US dating show, that have realised rabid fanboys cant help trolling.
If thats what makes up the games buying public, its no wonder everyone is buying wiis.
Besides, if you actually read something before you posted it, you'd realise that your comments are utterly ridiculous. There have been anti-microsoft posts all over the internet for years, and ...
nicely done. Proof positive that you are a dribbling, ranting sony fankid yourself. Would have been better not to say anything really - save a few bubbles, and not end up looking like the rest of those rabid freaks.
I'd suggest claiming that xbox fanboys (who are, i agree, complete wastes of space) cant afford the game or a ps3 is a pretty shoddy attempt at trolling really... but thats just me.
careful Razer - if you dont come out with absolute adoration and awe for uncharted, the sony fankids will start attacking you with their bizzare nonsensical drivel and personal attacks...
damn, too late....
felt the demo was a bit sparse - good fun in multiplayer as at least you can mess around attempting takedowns, but single player the demo didnt really have enough events to get a real feel of how the game is going to pan out.
Have to say though, the way in which the online/offline modes are so seemless is amazing - love the way that if you drop out of a game, you just carry on playing as if nothing had changed.
Wasnt a fan of the last burnout on the 360, but thi...
